A 7-inch wall sconce with a bell-shaped slate glass shade and matte black metal frame, ideal for entryways and hallways.
The Brookhaven Flute sconce brings an industrial-modern edge to transitional spaces. Its hand-blown glass shade in a deep slate tone diffuses light softly, while the matte black finish and cast backplate add a sturdy, vintage-inspired character. This fixture works well in pairs or alone to create a welcoming glow.
Best for
- Entryways and hallways, mounted at eye level to cast a warm welcome
- Bedrooms as a reading light beside the bed
- Living rooms and dens as accent lighting on either side of a fireplace or artwork
- Staircases and landings where a compact, directional light is needed
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Large rooms needing primary illumination - it's an accent light, not a main source
- Spaces with very low ceilings if you prefer a flush mount - this sconce projects 8 inches
How bright is it?
With a maximum 100W incandescent bulb (not included), this sconce can produce up to about 1600 lumens - comparable to a 100W bulb. For a softer accent, use a 60W equivalent LED. It's dimmable for adjustable ambiance.
Light color and feel
The slate glass shade softens and diffuses the light, creating a warm, cozy glow. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust from a bright task light to a subtle nightlight. For best results, use a dimmer compatible with your bulb type.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions: 8"L x 7"W x 11"H, with an 8" extension from the wall. The backplate is 4.5"W x 6.25"H. This sconce suits most wall spaces and pairs well with other Brookhaven Flute fixtures.
