A 7-inch wall sconce in black antique brass with a slate glass bell shade, perfect for hallways, living rooms, and other spaces needing accent lighting.
The Brookhaven Flute wall sconce adds a touch of industrial-modern style to any room. Its black antique brass finish and hand-blown slate glass shade create a unique, vintage-inspired look. The fixture is designed to be wall-mounted with a heavy cast backplate, ensuring stability and durability.
Best for
- Hallways and entryways, mounted at eye level to provide warm accent lighting
- Living rooms and bedrooms, flanking a fireplace or bed for a balanced look
- Dining rooms, adding ambient light to a buffet or sideboard
- Covered porches and sunrooms, thanks to its damp-rated design
- Industrial, modern contemporary, restoration-vintage, or transitional interiors
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - it is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Spaces with very low ceilings, as the sconce extends 8 inches from the wall
- Areas needing bright, task lighting - this fixture is designed for accent or ambient light
How bright is it?
With a single 100W incandescent bulb (not included) producing up to 1600 lumens, this sconce can provide a decent amount of light for accenting. However, it's best used as a secondary light source, not as the primary illumination for a large room.
Light color and feel
The fixture is compatible with incandescent, LED, fluorescent, and halogen bulbs. The slate glass shade diffuses light, creating a soft, warm glow. It is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the brightness to suit your mood.
Sizing and fit
The sconce measures 8 inches in length, 7 inches in width, and 11 inches in height, with an 8-inch extension from the wall. The backplate is 4.5 inches wide and 6.25 inches high. It's designed for standard wall mounting and fits well in most spaces.
