A 7-inch semi-flush mount light with a satin gold metal frame and a slate glass shade, ideal for hallways, bedrooms, and other spaces with lower ceilings.
The Brookhaven Cloche collection brings an industrial yet refined look to your home. The satin gold finish on the metal canopy and frame pairs beautifully with the hand-blown slate glass shade, creating a warm, inviting glow. This fixture is versatile enough to complement modern, transitional, and vintage-inspired interiors.
Best for
- Hallways and entryways with 8-foot ceilings, providing ambient light without taking up visual space
- Bedrooms, mounted above a dresser or in a sitting area for soft, general illumination
- Dining rooms, used as a secondary light source over a buffet or sideboard
- Covered porches or sunrooms, thanks to its damp-rated construction
- Stairwells and landings, where a compact fixture is needed
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure, as it is damp-rated but not wet-rated
- Sloped ceilings, as this fixture is not sloped ceiling adaptable
- Large rooms needing bright, task-level lighting, as it uses a single bulb
How bright is it?
This fixture accepts one 100W incandescent bulb (not included), which typically produces about 1600 lumens. That's similar to a standard 100W bulb, providing ample light for a hallway or small bedroom. For a softer glow, use a lower-wattage LED bulb.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. With a warm white LED (2700K-3000K), the slate glass shade will diffuse a cozy, amber-toned light that flatters wood and neutral palettes. The glass shade softens the light, reducing glare and creating a pleasant ambiance.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 7 inches wide, 7 inches deep, and 16.5 inches high, with a 4.88-inch round canopy. It is designed for flat ceilings only and requires a minimum ceiling height of about 8 feet. The compact size makes it suitable for smaller spaces.
