A 7-inch wall sconce with a polished nickel finish and a slate glass shade, perfect for hallways, bedrooms, and living spaces that need a touch of industrial elegance.
The Brookhaven Cloche collection combines sleek design with versatile styling. This wall sconce features a polished nickel finish and a hand-blown slate glass shade, creating a warm, inviting light. Its compact size makes it an excellent choice for narrow spaces or as an accent light.
Best for
- Hallways, mounted at eye level to provide ambient light and visual interest
- Bedrooms, flanking a bed as reading lights or above a dresser
- Living rooms, highlighting a piece of art or an architectural feature
- Staircases, adding light and style to the landing
- Covered porches or sunrooms, thanks to its damp-rated construction
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure, as this fixture is rated for damp locations only, not wet locations
- Spaces where you need a primary light source for large areas, as this is a single-bulb fixture
- Rooms with very high ceilings, as the sconce may not provide adequate light from a distance
How bright is it?
With a maximum 100W incandescent bulb (not included), this sconce can produce up to 1600 lumens, similar to a traditional 100W bulb. This is suitable for accent or ambient lighting, but you may want to supplement with task lighting for activities like reading.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, cozy feel, opt for a 2700K-3000K bulb. The slate glass shade will diffuse the light, creating a soft, even glow that flatters the room's decor.
Sizing and fit
This wall sconce extends 8 inches from the wall and measures 7 inches wide and 16.75 inches high. The backplate is 4.5 inches wide and 6.25 inches high. It is designed for vertical mounting.
