A 7-inch wall sconce from the Brookhaven Cloche Collection, finished in oil rubbed bronze with an opal glass cylinder shade, ideal for bathrooms, hallways, and entryways.
The Brookhaven Cloche sconce features a sleek, hand-blown glass cylinder shade in opal, mounted on a heavy cast metal backplate in oil rubbed bronze. Its industrial-modern design fits seamlessly into transitional, contemporary, and vintage-inspired interiors. The opal glass diffuses light softly, creating a warm and inviting ambiance.
Best for
- Bathrooms with a single or double vanity, mounted on either side of the mirror for task lighting
- Hallways and corridors, spaced evenly to provide ambient light and visual rhythm
- Entryways and foyers, flanking a console table or artwork for a welcoming glow
- Bedrooms as bedside sconces, freeing up nightstand space
- Powder rooms, adding a touch of vintage-industrial charm
Not ideal for
- Large living rooms or open spaces where a single sconce cannot provide sufficient ambient light
- Outdoor areas exposed to rain or direct water spray, despite damp rating
- Spaces with very low ceilings if you prefer a flush mount, as this sconce extends 8 inches from the wall
How bright is it?
This sconce accepts one 100W incandescent bulb (not included), producing approximately 1600 lumens with a standard bulb - bright enough for task lighting in a bathroom or hallway. For a softer glow, use a lower-wattage LED or dimmable bulb.
Light color and feel
The opal glass shade diffuses light to create a soft, even glow. With a warm white bulb (2700K-3000K), the light feels cozy and flattering, complementing the oil rubbed bronze finish. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood from bright task lighting to a gentle nightlight.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 7 inches wide, 8 inches deep, and 16.75 inches high, with an 8-inch extension from the wall. The rectangular backplate measures 4.5 inches wide by 6.25 inches high. This sconce is well-suited for walls with standard 8-foot ceilings, and it can be mounted vertically.
