A 7-inch wall sconce from the Brookhaven Cloche collection, finished in antique copper with an opal glass shade, for bedrooms and hallways.
The Brookhaven Cloche sconce brings a dynamic, industrial-modern look to any wall. Its sleek cylinder shape and hand-blown opal glass shade diffuse light softly, while the antique copper metal frame adds a vintage touch. This fixture fits seamlessly into transitional, industrial, and modern contemporary interiors.
Best for
- Bedrooms, mounted as a reading sconce beside the bed
- Hallways, providing ambient accent light along a corridor
- Living rooms, flanking a fireplace or media console
- Entryways, adding a warm welcome near the door
- Dining rooms, creating a cozy atmosphere on a dimmer
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this sconce is rated for damp locations, not wet locations
- Outdoor uncovered areas - not rated for wet locations
- Spaces with very low ceilings if you need a flush mount - this sconce extends 8 inches from the wall
How bright is it?
This sconce uses one 100W incandescent bulb (not included) and is compatible with LED, fluorescent, and halogen bulbs. With a 100W incandescent, you can expect about 1600 lumens - bright enough for accent lighting or a secondary light source, but not as a primary room light. For a softer glow, use a lower-wattage LED bulb.
Light color and feel
The opal glass shade diffuses light, creating a soft, even glow. The color temperature depends on the bulb you choose - a 2700K warm white bulb will give a cozy, traditional feel, while a 3000K bulb offers a slightly crisper white. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the mood to suit any occasion.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 8 inches long, 7 inches wide, and 16.75 inches high, with an 8-inch extension from the wall. The backplate measures 4.5 inches wide by 6.25 inches high. This sconce works well in rooms with standard 8-foot ceilings and can be mounted vertically.
