A 6-inch semi-flush mount light with a satin gold metal frame and an opal glass teardrop shade, ideal for hallways, bedrooms, and other spaces with lower ceilings.
The Brookhaven Almond collection brings a dynamic teardrop silhouette to your ceiling, blending industrial and transitional styles. The satin gold finish and hand-blown opal glass shade create a warm, inviting glow that complements a variety of décor. Its compact size makes it a versatile choice for rooms where a full chandelier won't fit.
Best for
- Hallways and entryways with 8-9 ft ceilings, providing ambient light without overwhelming the space
- Bedrooms, mounted over nightstands or dressers for a soft, warm glow
- Dining nooks and breakfast areas, adding a touch of elegance
- Covered porches and patios, as it is damp-rated for protection against moisture
- Transitional and industrial-style interiors seeking a statement piece
Not ideal for
- Large living rooms or open-concept areas that need bright, widespread illumination
- Sloped ceilings, as this fixture is not adaptable to angled mounting
- Outdoor areas exposed to direct rain, despite its damp rating
How bright is it?
This fixture uses one 100W incandescent bulb (not included) and is compatible with LED, fluorescent, and halogen bulbs. With a standard 100W incandescent, you can expect around 1600 lumens, similar to a traditional 100W bulb, providing ample light for medium-sized rooms. For a softer glow, use a lower-wattage LED bulb.
Light color and feel
The opal glass shade diffuses light, creating a soft, even glow that reduces glare. The color temperature depends on the bulb you choose; a 2700K warm white bulb will produce a cozy, amber light, while a 3000K soft white offers a neutral, inviting tone. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood to suit any occasion.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 6 inches wide, 6 inches deep, and 14.5 inches high, with a 4.88-inch canopy. It is designed for standard 8-9 ft ceilings, providing a low-profile look that doesn't intrude on the room. The compact size makes it suitable for smaller spaces, but it can also be used in multiples for larger areas.
