A 6-inch semi-flush mount ceiling light with a teardrop-shaped amber glass shade, finished in satin gold - perfect for kitchens, entryways, and other spaces needing a warm, stylish glow.
The Brookhaven Almond features a hand-blown amber glass shade that casts a warm, golden light. Its satin gold metal canopy and teardrop silhouette bring an industrial yet transitional feel to any room. Damp-rated, it can be installed in bathrooms and covered porches.
Best for
- Kitchens, especially over islands or breakfast nooks, providing ambient light with a warm tone
- Entryways and foyers, creating a welcoming first impression
- Bedrooms, mounted in the center or over a seating area
- Bathrooms with sufficient clearance, thanks to its damp-rated construction
- Transitional or industrial interiors that appreciate hand-blown glass details
Not ideal for
- Spaces with sloped ceilings - this fixture is not sloped ceiling adaptable
- Areas requiring bright, task-oriented lighting - this is an ambient fixture
- Outdoor uncovered areas - it is rated for damp locations, not wet locations
How bright is it?
This fixture uses one 100W incandescent bulb (not included) and is compatible with LED, fluorescent, and halogen bulbs. With a standard 100W incandescent, you can expect around 1600 lumens - bright enough for ambient lighting in a medium-sized room, but not for task lighting.
Light color and feel
The amber glass shade naturally warms the light, creating a cozy, inviting atmosphere. For an even warmer glow, use a 2700K LED bulb. The glass diffuses light evenly, reducing glare.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 6 inches in diameter and 14.5 inches in height, making it a compact choice for rooms with 8-foot ceilings. The canopy is 4.88 inches in diameter. It is designed for flush mounting and is not adaptable for sloped ceilings.
