A 6-inch semi-flush mount light with a teardrop slate glass shade, finished in black antique brass, for hallways and entryways.
The Brookhaven Almond semi-flush mount brings an industrial yet transitional look to your home. Its hand-blown teardrop glass shade in slate adds a soft, sculptural element, while the black antique brass metal canopy and accents ground it in a modern vintage aesthetic. This fixture is damp-rated, making it suitable for covered porches and bathrooms.
Best for
- Hallways and entryways with 8-9 ft ceilings, providing ambient light without taking up visual space
- Covered porches and patios, thanks to its damp-rated construction
- Bathrooms with adequate clearance, as it is damp-rated and adds a stylish accent
- Bedrooms and living rooms where a low-profile light is needed
- Transitional and industrial interiors that appreciate hand-blown glass details
Not ideal for
- Large rooms needing bright, primary illumination - this is an accent or ambient light
- Sloped ceilings, as it is not sloped ceiling adaptable
- Outdoor areas exposed to direct rain or moisture, despite damp rating
How bright is it?
With a maximum 100W incandescent bulb (not included), this fixture can produce up to about 1600 lumens - similar to a standard 100W bulb, suitable for ambient lighting in small to medium spaces. For a softer glow, use a lower wattage or LED equivalent.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, inviting atmosphere, select a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The slate glass shade diffuses light, reducing glare and creating a cozy ambiance. This fixture is dimmable when used with compatible dimmable bulbs and a dimmer switch.
Sizing and fit
This semi-flush mount measures 6 inches wide and 14.5 inches high, making it ideal for ceilings 8 feet or higher. The canopy is 4.88 inches in diameter, and the fixture weighs only 3.25 lbs, so it can be mounted on standard junction boxes.
