A 1-light wall sconce with hand-blown sapphire blue teardrop glass, finished in matte black, for living rooms, hallways, and other damp-rated indoor spaces.
The Brookhaven Almond sconce features an elegant ombre gradient glass in a striking sapphire blue, transitioning from rich tones to soft hues. The matte black metal frame and heavy cast backplate provide an industrial contrast. This handcrafted piece adds sophistication and depth to any modern or transitional space.
Best for
- Living rooms and sitting areas, mounted at eye level to create ambient pools of light
- Hallways and staircases, spaced evenly for a dramatic effect
- Bedrooms as bedside reading lights, placed 30-36 inches above the nightstand
- Bathrooms and powder rooms (damp-rated) with a modern or industrial aesthetic
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas exposed to rain or direct water spray (damp-rated, not wet-rated)
- Spaces needing bright, task-level illumination (100W max, but the glass shade diffuses light)
How bright is it?
Lumen output not specified by manufacturer, but it accepts up to a 100W incandescent bulb (or equivalent LED). This is suitable for accent or ambient lighting, not as a primary room light.
Light color and feel
Bulb color temperature depends on the bulb you choose. The sapphire blue glass will tint the light, creating a cool, moody ambiance. Dimmable for adjustable brightness.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 7.5 inches long, 8 inches wide, and 11 inches high, with a 7.5-inch extension from the wall. The backplate is 4.5 inches wide by 6.25 inches high. This size works well in medium to large rooms.
