An 8-inch wall sconce with a hand-blown sapphire blue glass shade and antique brass metal frame, perfect for adding a pop of color to bedrooms and hallways.
From the Brookhaven Almond collection, this sconce features elegant ombre gradient glass that transitions from rich sapphire blue to softer hues, creating a captivating visual flow. The antique brass finish and teardrop shape give it a sophisticated, artisan-crafted look that suits modern, contemporary, and transitional spaces.
Best for
- Bedrooms, mounted as a reading light beside the bed or above a nightstand
- Hallways and corridors, providing a warm, inviting glow
- Living rooms, flanking a fireplace or media console for ambient accent lighting
- Entryways, adding a touch of elegance and color
- Dining rooms, used as accent lighting on a feature wall
Not ideal for
- Large rooms needing primary illumination - this is an accent light, not a main light source
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - damp-rated, but not wet-rated
- Spaces with very low ceilings if you prefer a flush mount - this sconce extends 7.5 inches from the wall
How bright is it?
Lumen output not specified by manufacturer, but it accepts a 100W incandescent bulb (or compatible LED, fluorescent, or halogen) - roughly equivalent to a 1600-lumen LED, bright enough for accent and task lighting.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, inviting glow, pair with a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The sapphire blue glass filters the light, casting a cool, colored hue that adds drama and depth to the room.
