Brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. With four medium-base sockets, you can install up to 60W equivalent LED bulbs per socket (240W total equivalent). For a typical kitchen island, we recommend 4 x 60W equivalent LED bulbs for about 3200 lumens total - bright enough for food prep and dining. Dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch let you adjust the mood.
Light color and feel
The clear glass shades and exposed vintage-style bulbs produce a warm, ambient glow. For a classic look, use 2700K-3000K LED bulbs to match the antique copper finish. The open-bottom design minimizes glare and casts light downward onto surfaces.
