Brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. With three medium-base (E26) sockets, you can install up to 60W incandescent equivalent bulbs each (or LED/CFL equivalents). Using three 60W incandescent bulbs yields about 2400 lumens total - bright enough for a primary bathroom light. For a softer ambient glow, use lower-wattage vintage bulbs.

The fixture itself does not determine color temperature - choose bulbs from warm white (2700K-3000K) for a cozy, incandescent-like feel, or cool white (3500K-4000K) for a crisper task light.
