A four-light island light from the Bridal Veil collection, finished in brushed satin nickel with mercury glass shades, for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Arcadia, part of the Bridal Veil collection, features a sleek, dynamic design that fits seamlessly amidst most décor styles. Its hand-blown mercury glass shades and brushed satin nickel finish offer a vintage-industrial look that works in transitional and modern spaces. The fixture includes stems for customizable hanging lengths.
Best for
- Kitchen islands, providing focused task lighting over a 6-8 ft counter
- Dining rooms, centered above a table for ambient light
- Open-plan living areas, adding a statement piece
- Covered patios or porches, thanks to its damp-rated construction
- Vaulted or sloped ceilings, with the included 90-degree swivel
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is rated for damp locations, not wet
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 ft if you need the full 30-inch stem length
- Those seeking a flush mount - this is a hanging island light
How bright is it?
Each socket accepts up to a 100W incandescent bulb (not included), so total brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. With four 60W equivalent LED bulbs, you can expect around 3200 lumens - enough for ambient lighting in a large kitchen or dining area. For a brighter effect, use higher-wattage bulbs or dim the fixture.
Light color and feel
The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood from bright and energetic to soft and intimate. The mercury glass shades diffuse the light, creating a soft, warm glow. The light color will match whatever bulb you install - from warm 2700K to cool 5000K. For a classic look, pair with T-series filament bulbs (sold separately) for a warm, vintage feel.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 47.75 inches in width, 5 inches in depth, and 10 inches in height. The overall height can be adjusted from 16.88 to 40.88 inches using the included stems (two 6-inch and four 12-inch). The rectangular canopy is 4.5 x 6.25 inches. This fixture is sloped ceiling compatible, making it versatile for various ceiling types.
