How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. With three medium-base sockets, you can install up to 60W incandescent equivalent LEDs per socket. Typical output with three 60W LED bulbs is about 2400 lumens - enough to illuminate a kitchen island or dining table as ambient light, but supplement with under-cabinet task lighting for food prep.
Light color and feel
Choose your own bulb color temperature. For a warm, inviting glow similar to traditional incandescent, use 2700K-3000K LED bulbs. The ribbed glass shades diffuse light softly, reducing glare and creating a warm ambiance. Dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch allow you to adjust brightness for different occasions.
Sizing and fit
The pendant measures 29.75 in wide and 14.62 in tall. It hangs from a 4.875 in diameter canopy. For an 8-ft ceiling, hang the fixture so the bottom is about 60-66 in from the floor. For higher ceilings, use additional chain or rod (not included). The fixture weighs 4 lbs.
