A compact 8-inch semi-flush mount with a hand-blown seedy glass bell shade, finished in antique brass - ideal for bedrooms, hallways, and entryways with standard ceilings.
The Bridal Veil collection brings a dynamic, industrial-modern look to any home. Its sleek metal frame in antique brass pairs with a hand-blown seedy glass shade that diffuses light beautifully. The 2mm heavy cast canopy ensures a sturdy flush mount, while the bell shape adds a vintage touch that fits seamlessly with transitional and restoration-vintage decor.
Best for
- Bedrooms 10x12 ft or larger, mounted as a central ceiling light for ambient illumination
- Hallways and corridors, providing a warm glow along the path
- Entryways and foyers, making a stylish first impression
- Dining nooks and breakfast areas, adding character and light
- Covered porches and patios, thanks to its damp-rated construction
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - while damp-rated, it is not wet-rated for open water spray
- Spaces with sloped or vaulted ceilings - this fixture is not sloped ceiling adaptable
- Large rooms over 200 sq ft where a single 100W bulb may be insufficient for primary lighting
How bright is it?
With a maximum 100W incandescent bulb (not included), this fixture can produce up to 1600 lumens - roughly equivalent to a 100W incandescent, bright enough for ambient lighting in medium-sized rooms. For a softer glow, use a lower-wattage LED or dimmable bulb.
Light color and feel
The seedy glass shade diffuses light, creating a warm, inviting ambiance. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust brightness to suit your mood. The antique brass finish adds a vintage warmth that complements warm wood tones and neutral palettes.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 8 inches wide by 8 inches deep by 14 inches high, making it a compact choice for low ceilings. The canopy is 4.88 inches in diameter, and the fixture weighs just 2.7 lbs, so it can be mounted on standard ceiling boxes. It is designed for flush mounting and is not adaptable for sloped ceilings.
