A 5-inch, one-light wall sconce in antique brass with a blue glass shade, ideal for bedrooms and hallways.
The Bridal Veil sconce combines industrial charm with vintage elegance. Its antique brass finish and hand-blown blue glass shade create a warm, characterful glow. The fixture can be mounted up or down, offering flexibility in placement. The heavy cast backplate adds a substantial feel.
Best for
- Bedrooms as a reading light beside the bed, mounted at eye level
- Hallways and corridors, spaced 8-10 ft apart for even lighting
- Living rooms flanking a fireplace or artwork
- Entryways and foyers, adding a warm welcome
- Dining rooms as accent lighting on a feature wall
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas without cover, as it is only damp-rated
- Spaces needing bright task lighting, as it is designed for accent or ambient use
- Very narrow hallways if you need more than 7 inches of clearance
How bright is it?
With a single 100W incandescent bulb (not included), this sconce can produce up to 1,600 lumens - enough for accent lighting or a cozy reading nook. For a softer glow, use a lower-wattage LED bulb.
Light color and feel
The blue glass shade casts a cool, calming light that complements both warm and cool interiors. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the ambiance. Color temperature depends on the bulb; warm white (2700-3000K) is recommended for a relaxing feel.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 7"(L) x 5"(W) x 10.75"(H), with a 7-inch extension from the wall. The backplate is 4.5"(W) x 6.25"(H). It suits hallways, bedrooms, and living areas with standard 8-9 ft ceilings.
