Best for
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars, hung in a row for task and ambient lighting
- Dining rooms and eat-in kitchens, centered over a table or counter
- Entryways and foyers, adding a warm welcome
- Living rooms and reading nooks, providing focused accent light
- Vaulted or sloped ceilings, thanks to the included 90-degree swivel
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Outdoor uncovered areas - not rated for wet locations
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet if you need the full 30-inch hanging length
How bright is it?
This fixture accepts one 100W incandescent bulb (not included) or an equivalent LED. With a standard 100W bulb, you can expect around 1600 lumens - bright enough for task lighting over a counter or table. Using a lower-wattage LED will reduce brightness for a softer ambiance.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, inviting glow, select a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The blue glass shade adds a subtle color tint to the light, creating a unique ambiance. The fixture is dimmable when used with compatible bulbs and a dimmer switch.
Sizing and fit
The pendant measures 12 inches wide, 12 inches deep, and 18 inches high. With the included stems, the hanging height adjusts from 24.88 to 48.88 inches, making it suitable for most ceiling heights. The canopy is 4.88 inches in diameter.
