A 12-inch semi-flush mount light with a mercury glass bell shade, finished in brushed satin nickel, for entryways and hallways.
The Bridal Veil collection features hand-blown glass shades that add a touch of vintage elegance to any space. The mercury glass shade has a reflective, silvery finish that catches the light beautifully. The brushed satin nickel finish on the metal frame is durable and versatile, complementing a wide range of decor styles. This fixture is dimmable and compatible with various bulb types.
Best for
- Entryways and foyers with 8-10 foot ceilings, mounted to provide a warm welcome
- Hallways and corridors, spaced 8-10 feet apart for even lighting
- Bedrooms and living rooms with lower ceilings, as a space-saving flush mount
- Dining areas and kitchens, providing ambient light without taking up visual space
- Homes with a modern or transitional aesthetic
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is rated for damp, not wet, locations
- Sloped ceilings - this fixture is not sloped ceiling adaptable
- Spaces where you need a lot of bright light - this is an accent or ambient fixture, not a primary task light
How bright is it?
This fixture accepts one 100W incandescent bulb (sold separately), which typically produces about 1600 lumens. That's roughly equivalent to a 100W incandescent bulb - bright enough for an entryway or hallway, but not overwhelming. For a softer glow, use a lower-wattage LED bulb.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, inviting ambiance, choose a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The mercury glass shade adds a subtle, reflective quality that creates a soft, diffused light. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the brightness to suit the mood.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 12 inches in diameter and 19 inches in height. It is designed for standard 8-9 foot ceilings. The canopy is 4.88 inches in diameter. This size works well in entryways, hallways, and rooms with lower ceilings.
