A 48-inch wide, four-light island pendant from Innovations Lighting, finished in antique brass with amber glass globes, ideal for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Brookhaven Globe collection brings a dynamic, industrial-modern look to your home. The sleek metal frame in antique brass supports four hand-blown amber glass globes, creating a warm, inviting glow. This fixture fits seamlessly into a variety of décor styles, from restoration-vintage to transitional, making it a versatile choice for any space.
Best for
- Kitchen islands measuring 60 inches or longer, hung 30-36 inches above the counter for task lighting
- Dining rooms with a 6-8 foot table, providing ambient light for meals and gatherings
- Open-concept living areas where a statement light is needed over a breakfast bar or peninsula
- Vaulted or sloped ceilings, thanks to the included 90-degree swivel
- Homes with a modern, industrial, or transitional aesthetic
Not ideal for
- Small kitchens with islands under 48 inches wide, as the fixture may overwhelm the space
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 feet, as the minimum hanging height is about 15 inches
- Outdoor covered areas, despite the damp rating, as it is not rated for wet locations
How bright is it?
With four sockets rated for up to 100 watts each, this fixture can produce up to 400 watts of incandescent light. If you use LED bulbs, you can achieve similar brightness with much lower energy consumption. The actual lumen output depends on the bulbs you choose; for a warm, bright light, consider 800-lumen LED bulbs per socket.
Light color and feel
The amber glass shades diffuse the light, creating a warm, golden glow that flatters skin tones and complements wood and brass finishes. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood from bright task lighting to soft ambient light. For best results, use a standard dimmer switch compatible with your bulb type.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 48 inches wide, 7.88 inches deep, and 11.8 inches high. The hanging height is adjustable from 14.75 to 38.75 inches using the included stems (two 6-inch and four 12-inch). The rectangular canopy is 4.5 by 6.25 inches. This island light is best suited for rooms with ceilings at least 8 feet high.
