A 48-inch, 4-light island light from the Brookhaven Flute Collection, finished in brushed satin nickel with slate glass shades - perfect for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Arcadia design fits seamlessly into most décor styles. Its sleek, dynamic form and versatile finish options make it an easy choice for any home. The bell-shaped slate glass shades add a touch of sophistication, while the brushed satin nickel finish provides a modern, clean look.
Best for
- Kitchen islands, providing focused task lighting over a 4-6 ft island
- Dining rooms and breakfast nooks, creating a warm ambiance
- Rooms with sloped or vaulted ceilings, thanks to the 90-degree hang straight swivel
- Industrial, modern, and transitional interiors
Not ideal for
- Spaces with low ceilings under 8 ft, as the minimum hanging height is 14.75 inches
- Areas where you need a lot of light, as 4 bulbs may not be sufficient for very large rooms
How bright is it?
With 4 bulbs (each up to 100W), the total brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. Using 100W incandescent bulbs, you'll get about 1600 lumens per bulb, totaling around 6400 lumens - bright enough for a kitchen island. LED bulbs can provide similar brightness with less energy.
Light color and feel
The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the light level. The color temperature depends on the bulbs you select - warm white (2700K-3000K) creates a cozy, inviting atmosphere, while cooler temperatures (3500K-4000K) are more energizing. The slate glass shades diffuse light softly, reducing glare.
Sizing and fit
The island light measures 48 inches long, 7 inches wide, and 15.88 inches high. The hanging height is adjustable from 14.75 to 38.75 inches, making it suitable for ceilings 8 ft and higher. The canopy is 4.5 inches by 6.25 inches.
