Brightness depends on the bulb used. The fixture accepts one medium base (E26) bulb up to 60W (recommended ST64 vintage bulb). With a 60W incandescent equivalent LED bulb (approx. 800 lumens), it provides comfortable ambient or task light for a small area. For a dimmer effect, use a 40W equivalent (450 lumens).
