Brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. With four medium-base sockets (E26), you can install up to 60W each (or LED equivalent). Using four 60W incandescent bulbs yields about 3200 lumens total, bright enough for a primary bathroom vanity. For softer ambient light, use lower wattage or dimmable bulbs.
