An 8-inch mini pendant with a polished nickel finish, white rope accent, and seedy glass globe shade, perfect for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Astor collection stands out with its intricate stem, available in detailed metal or rope designs, offering a refined balance between rustic charm and modern elegance. The globe shade adds texture and depth, while the polished nickel finish provides a sleek, contemporary look. This pendant is a versatile choice for various interior styles.
Best for
- Kitchen islands, hung in a row of two or three for task and ambient lighting
- Dining rooms, centered over a table for a warm, inviting glow
- Breakfast nooks and counter seating areas
- Entryways and foyers with 8-9 ft ceilings
- Spaces with industrial, modern-contemporary, or transitional décor
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is rated for damp locations, not wet locations
- Outdoor covered patios - not rated for wet locations
- Rooms with very low ceilings (under 7 ft) if you need the full 120-inch cord length
How bright is it?
This fixture accepts one 100W incandescent bulb (not included). With a standard 100W bulb, you can expect around 1600 lumens, which is bright enough for task lighting over a kitchen island. For a softer glow, use a lower wattage LED bulb.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, cozy feel, select a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The seedy glass shade will diffuse the light, creating a soft, textured glow. This fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the brightness to suit your mood.
Sizing and fit
With overall dimensions of 8 inches wide by 11.75 inches high, this mini pendant is compact and works well in spaces with standard 8-foot ceilings. The height is adjustable from 15.5 to 132.5 inches, thanks to the 120-inch cord that can be cut to your desired length. The canopy is 4.75 inches in diameter, and the fixture weighs just 2.6 lbs.
