An 8-inch single-light cord mini pendant from the Astor collection, finished in brushed brass with a matte white glass globe - a compact industrial-modern accent for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Astor pairs a detailed metal stem with a rope-wrapped accent, blending rustic charm with modern elegance. Its hand-blown globe shade diffuses light softly, adding texture and depth to any room. The 120-inch cord can be cut to your desired length, and the fixture is sloped-ceiling compatible.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 4-6 ft long, hung in a row of two or three for task and ambient light
- Dining rooms over a 36-48 in table, centered for a warm gathering glow
- Breakfast nooks and counter-height bars, providing focused illumination
- Entryways and stairwells with high ceilings, using the full cord drop
- Living rooms over a sideboard or console for a decorative accent
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 ft if you need the full 120-inch cord drop
- Primary room lighting in large open-plan areas - it's a single 100W bulb
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer, but it accepts one 100W incandescent bulb (not included) - roughly 1600 lumens, comparable to a standard household bulb. Bright enough for task and ambient lighting over a table or island, but not a replacement for a multi-bulb chandelier in a large room.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, inviting glow, pair with a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The matte white glass shade diffuses light to reduce glare and create a soft, even distribution. The fixture is dimmable with compatible dimmer switches and bulbs.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 8 inches wide by 8 inches deep by 11.75 inches high. The hanging height adjusts from 15.5 to 132.5 inches via the 120-inch cord. The canopy is 4.75 inches in diameter. Suitable for sloped ceilings.
