A 14-inch globe pendant with a brushed brass finish and rope-wrapped stem, designed for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Astor pendant combines an intricate metal stem with a brown rope wrap, blending rustic charm with modern elegance. Its hand-blown matte white glass globe shade diffuses light softly, adding texture and depth to any room. The fixture includes multiple stems for adjustable hanging lengths and a swivel for sloped ceilings.
Best for
- Kitchen islands, hung in a row over a 6-8 foot island
- Dining rooms, centered over a table for ambient light
- Entryways or stairwells, making a statement with its globe silhouette
- Living rooms with high ceilings, providing warm ambient light
Not ideal for
- Low ceilings under 8 feet - the minimum hanging height is about 25 inches
- Spaces needing bright task lighting - this is an ambient fixture
- Outdoor uncovered areas - it's rated for damp locations only
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulb you choose (not included). With a standard 100W incandescent equivalent LED, expect around 1600 lumens - enough for ambient lighting in medium rooms.
Light color and feel
The matte white glass shade diffuses light evenly, creating a soft, warm glow. Choose a 2700K-3000K bulb for a cozy feel, or 3500K for a more neutral tone.
Sizing and fit
The pendant measures 14 inches in diameter and 18 inches in height. With the included stems, it can hang from 25 to 49 inches, making it suitable for 8-10 foot ceilings. The swivel allows installation on sloped ceilings.
