A 14-inch single-light pendant from the Astor Collection, finished in matte black with a matte white hand-blown glass globe - a versatile choice for kitchen islands, dining nooks, and entryways.
The Astor pendant combines industrial charm with modern elegance. Its intricate stem and globe shade add texture and depth, while the matte black finish and white glass create a clean, timeless contrast. The 120-inch cord can be cut to your desired length, and the fixture is sloped ceiling compatible, making it adaptable to many spaces.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars, hung 28-34 inches above the counter
- Dining rooms and eat-in kitchens, centered over a table
- Entryways and stairwells, providing a warm welcome
- Covered patios or sunrooms - rated for damp locations
- Industrial, transitional, or modern interiors seeking a sculptural accent
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - damp rated, not wet rated
- Large rooms needing primary illumination - this is a single accent light
- Spaces with very low ceilings if you need the full 120-inch cord length
How bright is it?
With a maximum 100W bulb (not included), the fixture can produce up to about 1600 lumens - comparable to a 100W incandescent. This is suitable for task lighting over a kitchen island or ambient lighting in a small to medium room, but not for large open areas.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. The fixture is compatible with incandescent, LED, fluorescent, and halogen bulbs. For a warm, inviting glow, choose a 2700K-3000K LED or incandescent bulb. The hand-blown glass globe diffuses light softly, reducing glare and creating a pleasant ambiance. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust brightness to suit the mood.
Sizing and fit
The pendant measures 14 inches in diameter and 18.5 inches high. The overall height adjusts from 22.25 to 139.25 inches, thanks to the 120-inch cord. The canopy is 4.75 inches in diameter. The fixture weighs 2.6 pounds, making it easy to install on standard ceiling boxes.
