A 14-inch single-light pendant with a hand-blown globe shade, finished in matte black with white rope accents, ideal for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Astor pendant brings a refined balance of rustic charm and modern elegance to your space. Its intricate stem, available in detailed metal or rope designs, adds texture and depth, while the globe shade diffuses light beautifully. The matte black finish and white rope secondary finish create a striking contrast that complements industrial and transitional interiors.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and dining tables, hung 28-34 inches above the surface for task and ambient lighting.
- Breakfast nooks and eat-in kitchens, providing a warm focal point.
- Living rooms and entryways with 8-foot or higher ceilings, used as a statement pendant.
- Open floor plans where a single pendant defines a zone without overwhelming the space.
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is rated for damp locations, not wet locations.
- Outdoor covered areas exposed to rain or moisture - not wet-rated.
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet if you need the full 120-inch cord length.
How bright is it?
This pendant accepts one 100W incandescent bulb (not included), producing approximately 1600 lumens with a standard bulb - bright enough for task lighting over a kitchen island or dining table. For a softer glow, use a lower-wattage LED or dimmable bulb.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. With a warm white LED (2700K-3000K), the light is soft and golden, flattering wood tones and creating a cozy atmosphere. The hand-blown glass shade diffuses light evenly, reducing glare and adding a gentle glow to the room.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 14 inches in diameter and 18.5 inches in height, with an adjustable hanging height from 22.25 to 139.25 inches thanks to the 120-inch cord. The canopy is 4.75 inches in diameter, and the shade is 14 inches in diameter and 12.13 inches high. It is sloped ceiling compatible, making it versatile for various ceiling types.
