A 10-inch, 1-light mini pendant in polished nickel with a seedy glass globe, perfect for kitchen islands and entryways.
The Astor pendant stands out with its intricate stem and globe shade, offering a refined balance between rustic charm and modern elegance. The hand-blown seedy glass adds texture and depth, while the polished nickel finish provides a sleek, contemporary look. It's a versatile piece that works in a variety of settings.
Best for
- Kitchen islands, hung in a row of 2-3 for task and ambient lighting
- Entryways or foyers, creating a welcoming focal point
- Dining areas, centered over a table for a soft, diffused glow
- Covered patios or porches, as it is UL/CUL damp rated
Not ideal for
- Spaces with low ceilings (under 8 feet) if you need the full 120-inch cord
- Areas where a bright, primary light source is needed (this is more of an accent)
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure, despite damp rating
How bright is it?
This fixture uses one 100W incandescent bulb (not included) with an E26 socket. Brightness depends on the bulb you choose; with a 100W equivalent LED, you can expect about 1600 lumens, similar to a 100W incandescent. It's suitable for ambient lighting in medium-sized rooms.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you select. For a warm, inviting glow, choose 2700K-3000K bulbs. The seedy glass shade diffuses the light, creating a soft, textured effect that adds warmth to the space.
