Brightness depends on the bulb you choose. With a standard 60W incandescent equivalent LED bulb (about 800 lumens), it provides ample task lighting for a kitchen island or dining table. For accent lighting, a 40W equivalent (450 lumens) works well. Bulbs are not included.
