A compact 1-light semi-flush mount in matte black with an exposed bulb, ideal for low-ceiling hallways, entryways, and kitchens.
This Innovations 516 semi-flush mount brings an industrial, restoration-vintage look to any space. The matte black finish over cast brass gives it a rugged, timeless appeal. Its small footprint makes it perfect for areas where a full chandelier won't fit, providing focused ambient light with a bare bulb aesthetic.
Best for
- Hallways and entryways with ceilings 8 ft or lower, where a flush or semi-flush mount is needed.
- Kitchens over a sink or prep area, providing task-adjacent light.
- Bedrooms as a low-profile ceiling light, especially in smaller rooms.
- Dining nooks or breakfast areas with limited ceiling height.
- Covered porches or patios, thanks to its damp-rated construction.
Not ideal for
- Large living rooms or open-concept spaces that need broad, high-lumen illumination.
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure, despite the damp rating, if you prefer a sealed fixture.
- Spaces where you want a shaded, diffused light rather than an exposed bulb.
How bright is it?
With a 60W incandescent bulb (not included), this fixture outputs about 296 lumens - roughly the brightness of a 25W incandescent, suitable for accent or ambient lighting in small spaces, not as a primary room light.
Light color and feel
The included bulb has a color temperature of 2300K, producing a very warm, amber-like glow similar to candlelight. This creates a cozy, vintage atmosphere. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood from a soft glow to full brightness.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 4.5 inches wide by 5.5 inches high, with a canopy of 4.5 inches in diameter. It weighs just under a pound, making it easy to install on standard ceiling boxes. The compact size is ideal for tight spaces.
