A 6-light multi-port canopy in matte black for creating custom cord pendant arrangements over kitchen islands and dining tables.
This heavy cast steel canopy from the Custom Cord Collection lets you build your own multi-light pendant configuration. Finished in matte black, it mounts to a standard electrical box and provides six medium-base sockets for your choice of bulbs. The transitional style suits both classic and contemporary interiors.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and dining areas where you want to hang multiple pendants from a single canopy
- Living rooms and great rooms needing ambient or task lighting over a seating area
- Entryways and hallways with sloped ceilings, as it is slope-adaptable
- Damp-rated locations such as covered patios or bathrooms with ventilation
- Custom cord installations where you can cut the cord to your desired length
Not ideal for
- Wet locations exposed directly to rain or water spray, as it is only damp-rated
- Spaces with low ceilings where a flush mount or recessed light would be more appropriate
- Projects requiring a pre-wired fixture, as this canopy contains no wiring
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulbs you install. With six 100W sockets, you can achieve up to about 9000 lumens using 60W-equivalent LED bulbs, making it suitable for ambient lighting in large rooms.
Light color and feel
Light color is determined by the bulbs you choose. For a warm, inviting glow, select 2700K-3000K LED bulbs. The matte black finish adds a modern, sleek tone that complements contemporary decor.
Sizing and fit
The canopy measures 6 inches in diameter and 2 inches in height, fitting standard electrical boxes. It is designed for sloped ceilings and allows for custom cord lengths up to 120 inches.
