Best for
- Bedrooms with 8-9 ft ceilings, providing soft ambient light
- Hallways and foyers where a low-profile fixture is needed
- Dining rooms with a cottage or transitional style
- Living rooms seeking a unique, artisanal accent
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or outdoor areas - this fixture is rated for damp locations only, not wet
- Sloped ceilings - not compatible
- Rooms where a very bright, central light is required
How bright is it?
With one 15W E26 medium base bulb (not included), this semi-flush provides moderate ambient light. Lumen output depends on the bulb; using a 60W-equivalent LED would give around 800 lumens, but actual brightness varies.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, inviting glow, select 2700K-3000K bulbs. The ceramic shade diffuses light softly, creating a gentle ambiance. This fixture is dimmable when used with compatible dimmer switches and dimmable bulbs.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 17.75 inches in diameter and 9.5 inches high. The canopy measures 4.75 inches wide by 0.5 inches deep. The shade is 3.75 inches top width, 17.5 inches bottom width, and 6 inches high. This size works well in rooms with ceilings at least 8 feet high, and it is not compatible with sloped ceilings.
