A 30-inch stoneware table lamp in scored black matte with a white linen hardback shade, made for bedside tables and living room consoles.
The Scatchard pairs a hand-finished ceramic base with a crisp white linen hardback shade. The scored black matte finish is a soft, non-reflective black with carved linear texture, giving the base a quiet, grounded presence. Stoneware bases are made in the USA.
Best for
- Primary bedrooms - 30 inches tall reads comfortably from a standard nightstand
- Living room side tables and console tables where a dark accent anchors the room
- Guest rooms, home offices, and transitional or modern-traditional interiors
- Pairing in twos for matched bedside or buffet styling
Not ideal for
- Very small side tables - the 13-inch shade footprint needs a surface at least 14 inches deep
- All-white or pastel rooms where a black base would feel heavy
- Anyone wanting a bulb in the box - it is not included
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. The socket accepts a single 200W 3-way medium-base bulb, so brightness depends on the bulb you choose; a 3-way bulb lets you step between low ambient, medium, and full reading light from the switch on the socket.
Light color and feel
Color temperature is set by the bulb, not the lamp. With a warm white bulb the white linen hardback shade diffuses light softly and evenly, giving a gentle glow rather than a harsh pool of light - well suited to bedrooms and evening living rooms.
Sizing and fit
Overall 13 in deep x 13 in wide x 30 in high, with a 13 x 13 x 14 in shade and a 5 in base. At 30 inches tall it suits nightstands and console tables roughly 24 to 30 inches high, putting the shade near eye level when seated.

Frequently asked
Is the bulb included? No - the lamp takes one 200W 3-way medium-base bulb, sold separately.
Is it dimmable? There is no inline dimmer; the 3-way switch on the socket works with a 3-way bulb to give three brightness levels.
Can I use it in a bathroom or outdoors? No - it is ETL Listed for indoor use as a table lamp and is not rated for damp or wet locations.
What's the warranty? Warranty terms are not specified by the manufacturer.
Is the black finish shiny? No - it is a matte black with shallow carved scoring, so it absorbs light rather than reflecting it.
