A 28-inch ceramic table lamp with a scored black matte finish and cream linen hardback shade, made in the USA and sized for bedside or living room side tables.
The Scatchard table lamp pairs a hand-finished stoneware base with a crisp cream linen shade for a look that feels collected rather than mass-produced. The scored black matte glaze adds subtle texture and a modern, low-sheen contrast that works with both traditional and contemporary rooms. At 28 inches tall it makes a statement without overwhelming the table.
Best for
- Primary bedrooms with a 24-30 inch high nightstand, as a reading lamp beside the bed
- Living rooms and sitting areas where a pair flanks a sofa or console
- Home offices or reading nooks that need warm task lighting
- Entryway or hallway consoles that need a welcoming glow
Not ideal for
- Very small side tables under 18 inches wide - the 20-inch shade overhangs
- Rooms where you need a focused spotlight rather than ambient light
- Outdoor or damp locations - this lamp is ETL listed for dry indoor use only
How bright is it?
Uses one 250W 3-way medium-base bulb (not included). Lumen output depends on the bulb you choose; a 250W-equivalent LED can deliver strong ambient light for a living room, while lower settings work for bedside reading.
Light color and feel
Light color is determined by the bulb you install. The cream linen hardback shade diffuses light softly and casts a warm, even glow that flatters skin tones and wood finishes.
