A 63-inch floor lamp with a heritage gold metal base and a fine white linen shade, designed for living rooms and bedrooms where you need a tall, adjustable reading light.
The Sawyer floor lamp pairs a slim metal column in heritage gold with a crisp white linen drum shade. The warm gold finish gives it a transitional look that works with both modern and traditional interiors, while the 3-way switch lets you move between low, medium, and high brightness to suit the moment.
Best for
- Living rooms beside a sofa or armchair, where the 63-inch height puts light right over a book or magazine
- Primary bedrooms as a reading lamp next to a bed, with the 3-way switch for adjustable brightness
- Home offices or dens that need a tall, soft light source without ceiling wiring
- Entryways or hallways where a floor lamp adds a welcoming glow
Not ideal for
- Rooms with very low ceilings or tight corners where a 16-inch diameter base and 63-inch height would feel cramped
- Spaces that need a primary overhead light - this is a floor lamp for ambient or task lighting, not a room-filling fixture
- Outdoor or damp locations - this lamp is designed for indoor use only
How bright is it?
This lamp uses one 150W 3-way bulb (not included), so brightness depends on the bulb you choose. With a 150W-equivalent LED, expect roughly 2,000-2,500 lumens on the highest setting - enough to light a reading area or a corner of a living room. The 3-way switch lets you drop to a lower, softer level for ambiance.
Light color and feel
Light color is determined by the bulb you install. A warm white bulb (2700K-3000K) will complement the white linen shade and create a soft, inviting glow. The linen shade diffuses light evenly, reducing glare and making it comfortable for reading or relaxing.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 16 inches deep x 16 inches wide x 63 inches high. The shade measures 14 x 16 x 10 inches, and the base is 10.5 inches in diameter. At 63 inches tall, it sits comfortably beside most sofas and beds, and the 16-inch footprint fits in most living room or bedroom corners. Assembly is required.
