Best for
- Two-story foyers and entryways where a statement pendant anchors the space
- Hallways with high ceilings that need a traditional focal point
- Dining rooms or living rooms with traditional or transitional decor
- Spaces with 9-foot or higher ceilings, given the 24-inch minimum hanging height
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or outdoor areas - this fixture is dry-rated only
- Low ceilings under 8 feet, as the minimum height is 24 inches
- Modern or minimalist interiors where ornate traditional details may feel out of place
How bright is it?
This fixture uses four 60-watt candelabra bulbs (not included), providing ample ambient light for a foyer or hallway. Exact lumen output depends on the bulbs you choose; with standard 60W incandescent bulbs, expect around 800 lumens per bulb, totaling approximately 3200 lumens. This is suitable as a primary light source in an entryway but not for task lighting.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulbs you install. With warm white bulbs (2700K-3000K), it creates a soft, inviting glow typical of traditional interiors. The clear glass panels allow maximum light output and sparkle. This fixture is not dimmable unless you use dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch.
