The Orwell pendant takes its cues from vintage factory lighting: A simple cone shade, exposed mechanical details, and a deep matte black finish with a smooth, non-reflective surface. The shade is open at the top, so light escapes upward as well as down, giving you ambient fill instead of a single harsh pool of light.
