A 5-blade ceiling fan motor in pewter for living rooms and bedrooms, designed to pair with Fanimation Windpointe blades (sold separately).
The Windpointe by Fanimation is a versatile ceiling fan motor crafted for traditional and tropical interiors. Its pewter finish complements carved wood, palm leaf, or woven bamboo blades, letting you customize the look to match your space. The motor supports three forward and reverse speeds and fits ceiling slopes up to 30 degrees.
Best for
- Living rooms and family rooms with 8-10 ft ceilings, paired with 44-80 inch blades for ample airflow.
- Bedrooms and home offices where quiet, energy-efficient circulation is a priority.
- Covered porches and sunrooms (damp-rated) when paired with appropriate blades.
- Traditional, coastal, or tropical decor schemes seeking a classic fan silhouette.
- Homes with sloped ceilings up to 30 degrees, using the included 6-inch downrod.
Not ideal for
- Indoor rooms with low ceilings (under 7 ft) unless you use the optional close-to-ceiling kit.
- Outdoor areas exposed to rain or direct water spray - this motor is rated for dry and damp locations only, not wet.
- Spaces requiring a light kit - this is a motor-only unit; blades and light kits are sold separately.
How bright is it?
This is a ceiling fan motor only and does not include a light kit, so it emits no light on its own. Pair it with a Fanimation light kit or rely on existing room lighting.
Light color and feel
Not applicable - no light source is included. The fan provides airflow, not illumination.
Sizing and fit
The motor measures 8.5 inches long by 10 inches wide by 8.5 inches high and weighs 24 lbs. It accepts blades with a sweep of 44 to 80 inches, making it suitable for small to large rooms. The included 6-inch downrod works with standard 8-9 ft ceilings; for higher ceilings, order a longer downrod.
