A 72-inch smart ceiling fan without a light kit, finished in brushed satin brass with dark walnut blades, for covered outdoor and large indoor living spaces.
The TriAire Custom from Fanimation delivers powerful airflow in a sleek, modern package. Its three aerodynamic composite blades are driven by a quiet, energy-efficient DC motor that moves up to 8,666 CFM. This version is designed for those who prefer to use their own lighting or install a compatible light kit separately. With fanSync Wi-Fi and a handheld remote, you get full smart-home control over 16 speeds, timer, and more.
Best for
- Covered patios, porches, and sunrooms where damp-rated fixtures are required
- Large living rooms and great rooms (15x20 ft or larger) needing high-volume airflow
- Bathrooms and laundry rooms with high humidity, as long as not directly exposed to water
- Spaces where you already have sufficient lighting and only need air movement
- Smart-home setups with voice assistants (Alexa, Google Home) via fanSync Wi-Fi
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas with direct rain or water exposure - this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Small rooms under 10x10 ft where a 72-inch sweep would overwhelm the space
- Rooms that need a light fixture included - this model does not come with a light kit
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit, so brightness depends on your existing room lighting. It is compatible with Fanimation's optional LED light kits (sold separately) if you want to add one later.
Light color and feel
Not applicable - no light kit included. If you add a compatible light kit, you can choose from various color temperatures depending on the kit.
