A 72-inch smart ceiling fan from Fanimation's TriAire Custom collection, finished in brushed satin brass with dark walnut composite blades, designed for indoor and covered outdoor spaces.
The TriAire Custom ceiling fan pairs a sleek, modern silhouette with serious airflow. Its three aerodynamic composite blades are driven by a quiet, energy-efficient DC motor that moves up to 8,666 CFM on high. The brushed satin brass finish and dark walnut blades give it a warm, contemporary look that works in a range of settings. With Wi-Fi fanSync, you can control the fan from your smartphone or voice assistant, and the included handheld remote puts 16 speeds, a timer, and reverse at your fingertips. Energy Star certified for efficiency.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches, where the damp-rated motor and moisture-resistant blades handle humidity without direct rain exposure
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms that need powerful airflow to stay comfortable in warm weather
- Large living rooms and great rooms (up to 400 sq ft) with ceilings at least 8 ft high
- Bathrooms and laundry rooms with high humidity, thanks to the damp-rated construction
- Bedrooms and home offices where the 16-speed DC motor delivers whisper-quiet operation and seasonal reverse
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas directly exposed to rain or water - this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Rooms with ceilings lower than 7 ft, unless you use a shorter downrod than the included 8-inch one
- Small spaces under 100 sq ft where a 72-inch blade sweep may feel oversized
How bright is it?
This model does not include a light kit, so brightness depends on the compatible 18-watt LED light kit (sold separately). The optional kit delivers 1600 lumens - roughly equivalent to a 100W incandescent bulb - suitable for ambient lighting in medium to large rooms.
Light color and feel
If you add the optional light kit, you can choose from 3000K warm white, 4000K bright white, or 5000K daylight, letting you match the mood from cozy to crisp. The kit is dimmable and has a CRI of 90 for accurate color rendering. Use the included remote or the fanSync app to adjust brightness and color temperature.
Sizing and fit
With a 72-inch blade sweep and an overall height of 16.42 inches (from ceiling to bottom without a light kit), this fan suits rooms of 15x15 ft or larger. It mounts on flat or sloped ceilings up to 27 degrees and comes with an 8-inch downrod. Optional downrods up to 72 inches let you achieve the recommended 7-9 ft hanging height for optimal airflow. The canopy is 5.75 inches in diameter, and the lead wire is 80 inches long.
