A 72-inch smart ceiling fan with an integrated LED light kit, designed for covered outdoor and large indoor spaces, finished in brushed nickel with matte white blades.
The TriAire Custom ceiling fan pairs a sleek, modern silhouette with powerful, whisper-quiet airflow. Its three aerodynamic composite blades are driven by a high-performance DC motor that delivers up to 8,666 CFM, making it a commanding presence in great rooms, covered patios, and open-plan living areas. The integrated 12-inch LED light kit with CCT Select technology lets you shift from warm white to daylight, while the opal frosted shade diffuses light evenly. With fanSync Wi-Fi and a handheld remote, you get full smart-home control right out of the box.
Best for
- Covered patios, porches, and sunrooms where damp-rated fixtures are required
- Large living rooms and great rooms (up to 20x20 ft) needing high-velocity airflow
- Bathrooms and laundry rooms with high humidity, thanks to its damp rating
- Open-plan kitchens and dining areas where a bright, adjustable light source is welcome
- Smart-home setups—control via voice assistants or the fanSync app
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas exposed directly to rain or water—this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 ft unless you use a shorter downrod (8-inch included)
- Small bedrooms or offices where 72-inch blades would overwhelm the space
How bright is it?
With 3,600 lumens, this light kit is exceptionally bright—comparable to a 250W incandescent bulb. It's suitable as a primary light source for large rooms, though you may want to dim it for cozy evenings. The included remote and app allow full dimming control.
Light color and feel
The CCT Select technology offers five color temperatures: 2700K (warm white), 3000K (soft white), 3500K (neutral), 4000K (cool white), and 5000K (daylight). This flexibility lets you match the light to your activity—warm for relaxing, cool for tasks. With a CRI of 90, colors appear vivid and accurate, ideal for art or entertaining spaces.
Sizing and fit
This fan spans 72 inches with a 19.69-inch drop from ceiling to bottom (with light kit). It's designed for flat or sloped ceilings up to 27°, and includes an 8-inch downrod. For optimal airflow, the fan should hang 7–9 feet above the floor; optional downrods up to 72 inches are available for higher ceilings.
