A 44-inch smart ceiling fan for indoor and outdoor spaces, finished in black with black composite blades—ideal for medium-sized rooms and covered patios.
The TriAire Custom by Fanimation brings modern style and smart functionality to any space. Its wet-rated design means it can be installed in covered outdoor areas like patios, pergolas, and porches, as well as indoor rooms. The three sleek black blades and compact 44-inch sweep make it a great fit for bedrooms, kitchens, and home offices. With 16 speeds and a quiet DC motor, it delivers up to 5,103 CFM of airflow while staying energy-efficient. Control it with the included TR305 remote or the fanSync app for voice and mobile control.
Best for
- Covered patios, porches, and sunrooms where moisture resistance is needed
- Bedrooms and home offices up to 15x15 ft, providing quiet, adjustable airflow
- Kitchens and dining areas where a light kit may be added later (sold separately)
- Smart home setups—control via the Fanimation fanSync app or voice assistants
- Energy-conscious households—Energy Star certified for efficiency
Not ideal for
- Large open-concept spaces over 400 sq ft—a 60-inch model would provide better airflow
- Rooms with ceilings lower than 7 ft—the included 4.5-inch downrod may not provide enough clearance
- Spaces where you need a light fixture included—this model is light-kit adaptable but the kit is sold separately
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit, so brightness is not applicable. It is compatible with an optional 18-watt dimmable LED light kit (sold separately) that provides up to 1,600 lumens—about as bright as a 100W incandescent bulb—when added.
Light color and feel
When paired with the optional LED light kit, you can choose from 3000K (warm white), 4000K (bright white), or 5000K (daylight) to match your space. The high CRI of 90 ensures colors appear natural and vibrant, ideal for outdoor entertaining or reading areas.
Sizing and fit
