A 44-inch smart ceiling fan from Fanimation's TriAire Custom Collection, finished in brushed nickel with dark walnut composite blades, built for damp-rated indoor and covered outdoor spaces.
The TriAire Custom is a modern, minimalist ceiling fan designed for versatility. Its three slender composite blades in a rich dark walnut finish contrast beautifully with the sleek brushed nickel housing, giving it a warm yet contemporary look that suits a wide range of interiors and covered exteriors. Powered by a quiet, energy-efficient DC motor with 16 speeds, it delivers strong airflow while keeping energy use low. The included Wi-Fi FanSync technology lets you control the fan from your smart device or voice assistant, and the handheld remote puts all functions at your fingertips.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches, where the damp-rated construction handles humidity without direct rain exposure
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms that need reliable air movement in a stylish package
- Bathrooms and laundry rooms, where moisture resistance is a priority
- Bedrooms and living areas with 8-9 ft ceilings, using the included 4.5-inch downrod or an optional longer downrod
- Smart-home setups, thanks to built-in Wi-Fi and voice assistant compatibility
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas directly exposed to rain or water, as the fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Rooms with ceilings steeper than 27 degrees, the maximum slope supported
- Spaces where you need a light kit, since this model is fan-only (light kit sold separately)
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit, so brightness is not applicable. If you need illumination, consider the version with an integrated LED light kit.
Light color and feel
No light included, so no color temperature or CRI to report. The fan's brushed nickel finish and dark walnut blades create a warm, modern look that pairs well with wood tones and neutral palettes.
Sizing and fit
The fan measures 44 inches in blade sweep, with an overall height of 12.92 inches from ceiling to bottom (without light kit). It comes with a 4.5-inch downrod, and optional downrods up to 72 inches are available to achieve the recommended 7-9 ft hanging height. Ideal for rooms at least 10x10 ft, and works on flat or slightly sloped ceilings up to 27 degrees.
