A 44-inch wet-rated smart ceiling fan with an integrated 12-inch LED light kit, ideal for covered patios, porches, and large indoor rooms.
The TriAire Custom ceiling fan from Fanimation pairs a sleek, modern silhouette with serious performance. Its three slender composite blades in Brushed Nickel contrast beautifully against the black motor housing, while the opal frosted shade diffuses light softly. Powered by a quiet, energy-efficient DC motor, it delivers powerful airflow up to 5,103 CFM, and with built-in Wi-Fi and FanSync, you can control it from your smartphone or voice assistant. This fan is wet-rated, so it's built to withstand the elements in outdoor living spaces.
Best for
- Covered patios, porches, and pergolas where wet-rated durability is essential
- Great rooms and open-plan living areas up to 20x20 ft, providing strong airflow and ambient light
- Bedrooms and home offices needing quiet, customizable comfort with 16 speeds
- Spaces with sloped ceilings up to 27°, thanks to the included 4.5-inch downrod and optional longer downrods
- Smart-home setups, as it works with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and the Fanimation app
Not ideal for
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 ft, as the fan hangs 15.93 inches from the ceiling with the light kit
- Indoor-only applications if you don't need wet-rated construction, though it works fine indoors
- Those seeking a traditional or ornate fan design, as this is distinctly modern and minimal
How bright is it?
The integrated LED module produces 3,600 lumens—comparable to a 250W incandescent bulb—making it bright enough to serve as the primary light source in a large living room or covered patio. It's dimmable, so you can adjust the light level to suit the mood.
Light color and feel
With CCT Select technology, you can choose from five color temperatures: 2700K (warm white), 3000K (soft white), 3500K (neutral white), 4000K (cool white), and 5000K (daylight). This flexibility lets you match the light to your activity or time of day. The high CRI of 90 ensures colors appear vibrant and true, ideal for outdoor entertaining or showcasing decor.
Sizing and fit
The fan measures 44 inches in diameter and hangs 15.93 inches from the ceiling with the light kit (12.92 inches without). It comes with a 4.5-inch downrod, and optional downrods up to 72 inches are available to achieve the optimal 7-9 ft hanging height. It fits flat or sloped ceilings up to 27°.
