A 72-inch ceiling fan with an integrated LED light kit, designed for large living spaces and covered outdoor areas, finished in matte greige with weathered wood blades.
The Subtle ceiling fan from Fanimation combines a clean, modern form with a substantial 72-inch blade span to move air through generous rooms. The matte greige motor housing and weathered wood-finished composite blades offer a neutral, organic look that complements coastal, farmhouse, and contemporary interiors. Its damp-rated construction allows installation in covered patios, sunrooms, and other humid spaces. The included 18-watt LED light kit with opal frosted glass provides soft, energy-efficient illumination, and the handheld remote puts fan speed and light control at your fingertips.
Best for
- Great rooms and open-plan living areas 20x20 ft or larger, where the 72-inch sweep can circulate air effectively
- Covered patios, porches, and sunrooms thanks to its damp location rating
- Bedrooms and home offices that need both air movement and ambient light from a single fixture
- High ceilings (up to 12 ft) when installed with the included downrod or an extended one
Not ideal for
- Small rooms under 12x12 ft, where the blade span may overwhelm the space
- Indoor rooms with very low ceilings (under 8 ft) without a flush-mount option
- Spaces that require a light with adjustable color temperature, as this model is fixed at 3000K
How bright is it?
The integrated LED module produces 1400 lumens - roughly equivalent to a 100-watt incandescent bulb. This is sufficient to light a medium-sized room as the primary source, but you may want supplemental lighting for tasks like reading or cooking.
Light color and feel
The 3000K color temperature emits a warm white light, similar to traditional incandescent bulbs, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. With a CRI of 90, colors appear vibrant and accurate, making it suitable for spaces where you want to showcase decor or artwork.
Sizing and fit
This fan measures 72 inches in diameter and 15 inches in height from ceiling to the bottom of the light kit. It is designed for rooms with at least 8-foot ceilings; for higher ceilings, you can use an extended downrod (sold separately). The included downrod is 4.5 inches, and the canopy is 6.5 inches in diameter.
