A 96-inch smart ceiling fan from Fanimation's Spitfire DC Custom collection, finished in black with white washed blades, for large covered outdoor and indoor living spaces.
This downrod Spitfire delivers powerful, quiet airflow up to 12,413 CFM from its 6-speed DC motor, making it a commanding presence in great rooms, covered patios, and other expansive areas. The black motor finish pairs with three white washed blades for a fresh, coastal-inspired look. Wi-Fi enabled fanSync technology lets you control the fan from your smart device or voice assistant, and the included TR360 remote handles speed, reversing, and optional light control. Fanimation's KwikWire simplifies installation.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches, where the damp-rated motor and moisture-resistant blades perform reliably
- Great rooms and open-concept living areas with ceilings of 10 feet or higher, where the 96-inch sweep can move air effectively
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms that need powerful airflow without direct rain exposure
- Large bedrooms and home gyms that benefit from high-volume, quiet air movement
- Coastal or farmhouse-style interiors where white washed blades complement the decor
Not ideal for
- Small rooms under 12 x 12 feet, where the 96-inch blade sweep will overpower the space
- Areas directly exposed to rain or water, as this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 feet, where the downrod may make the fan hang too low
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit, but it is compatible with an optional integrated 18-watt LED light kit (sold separately) that delivers 1600 lumens—comparable to a 100-watt incandescent bulb—suitable for ambient lighting in large spaces.
Light color and feel
With the optional light kit, you can select from five color temperatures—2700K (warm white), 3000K (soft white), 3500K (neutral), 4000K (cool white), and 5000K (daylight)—to match the mood of your space. The high CRI of 90 ensures colors appear vibrant and true.
