A 96-inch downrod smart ceiling fan from Fanimation's Spitfire DC Custom collection, finished in matte white with weathered wood blades and an integrated LED light kit, for large indoor and covered outdoor spaces.
The Spitfire DC Custom pairs a streamlined matte white motor with three weathered wood blades, creating a clean, contemporary look that suits modern and transitional homes. Its powerful 6-speed DC motor delivers up to 12,413 CFM of airflow while running quietly and efficiently. This version includes an integrated 18-watt LED light kit with CCT Select technology, offering five color temperatures, and it includes a TR360 handheld remote and Wi-Fi fanSync for smart control.
Best for
- Covered patios, porches, and sunrooms where damp-rated fixtures are needed
- Great rooms, open-plan living areas, and large bedrooms (over 18x20 ft)
- Rooms with standard to slightly sloped ceilings (up to 20°), thanks to included downrods
- Spaces where smart control via app or voice assistant is desired
- Year-round comfort with reversible motor for seasonal airflow
Not ideal for
- Areas directly exposed to rain or water—this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Small rooms under 12x12 ft where a 96-inch fan would overwhelm the space
- Low ceilings under 8 ft, as the downrod adds height (minimum ceiling-to-bottom is 13.69 inches without light kit)
How bright is it?
The integrated 18-watt LED light kit provides 1600 lumens—comparable to a 100W incandescent bulb—suitable for ambient lighting in large rooms.
Light color and feel
With CCT Select technology, you can choose from five color temperatures (2700K to 5000K), ranging from warm, cozy light to bright daylight. The high CRI of 90 ensures colors appear natural and vibrant.
