A 96-inch smart ceiling fan with an integrated LED light kit, designed for large indoor and covered outdoor spaces.
The Spitfire DC Custom pairs a sleek black motor with natural buttonwood blades, delivering powerful yet quiet airflow up to 12,413 CFM. This version includes an integrated LED light kit with CCT Select technology, letting you shift from warm to daylight. Control it all with the included handheld remote or your smart device via fanSync Wi-Fi.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches where damp-rated fixtures are required
- Great rooms and open-plan living areas with ceilings 10 ft or higher
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms needing both air movement and adjustable light
- Large bedrooms or home gyms that benefit from high airflow
- Smart-home setups with voice assistants like Alexa or Google Home
Not ideal for
- Directly exposed outdoor areas without a roof or cover - this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Small rooms under 12 x 12 ft where a 96-inch sweep would overwhelm the space
- Low ceilings under 8 ft unless using a flush mount (this model requires downrods)
How bright is it?
The integrated LED module produces 1600 lumens - comparable to a 100W incandescent bulb, bright enough to light a large living area or covered patio. It's dimmable, so you can lower it for ambiance.
Light color and feel
Choose from five color temperatures: 2700K (warm white), 3000K (soft white), 3500K (neutral), 4000K (cool white), and 5000K (daylight). With a CRI of 90, colors appear vivid and accurate. The light is fully dimmable via the remote or app.
Sizing and fit
This fan has a 96-inch blade sweep and hangs 15.35 to 21.35 inches from the ceiling with the included 6-inch and 12-inch downrods. It's designed for flat or slightly sloped ceilings (up to 20°). For optimal airflow, mount it so the blades are 7 to 9 feet above the floor.
