A downrod-mount 84-inch smart ceiling fan with an integrated LED light kit, designed for large covered outdoor and indoor spaces, finished in black with weathered wood blades.
The Spitfire DC Custom pairs a sleek black motor housing with three weathered wood buttonwood blades for a rustic yet contemporary look. Its powerful 6-speed DC motor delivers up to 10,688 CFM of quiet airflow, and the included LED light kit offers five color temperatures from warm to daylight. The Wi-Fi-enabled fanSync technology lets you control everything from your phone or voice assistant.
Best for
- Covered patios, porches, and sunrooms where damp-rated fixtures are required
- Large living rooms and great rooms (over 300 sq ft) needing high airflow
- Bedrooms and home offices where quiet operation and smart control are valued
- Rooms with standard or slightly sloped ceilings (up to 20°)
Not ideal for
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet - the downrod adds height, so a flush mount may be better
- Areas directly exposed to rain or water - this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Small rooms under 100 sq ft where an 84-inch sweep is overpowering
How bright is it?
The integrated 18-watt LED module produces 1600 lumens - comparable to a 100-watt incandescent bulb, bright enough to illuminate a large living area or covered patio. It's dimmable, so you can adjust it for ambient or task lighting.
Light color and feel
With CCT Select technology, you can choose from 2700K (warm white), 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, and 5000K (daylight). This lets you shift from a cozy, golden glow to crisp, energizing daylight. The 90 CRI ensures colors appear vivid and accurate, ideal for art or entertaining spaces.
Sizing and fit
This fan measures 84 inches in diameter and hangs 19.42 inches from the ceiling with the included 12-inch downrod (6-inch also included). It's designed for flat or slightly sloped ceilings (up to 20°) and works best in rooms with at least 8-foot ceilings. Optional downrods up to 72 inches are available for higher ceilings.
